Siren Scales

 Siren Scales by 8bit Baits are SiO2 Silica based color shifting flakes designed for use in a variety of applications.  Siren Scales are able to to be mixed into plastisol for soft plastic injection, as well as safe for use in epoxy and resin clear coats.

 

     Siren Scales are silica based which gives them many benefits over traditional Polyester glitter.  The flakes have high heat resistance so they will not burn or degrade when mixing into hot plastisol, and they can withstand multiple re-heats.  Siren Scales can also withstand high heat for long periods of time, making them ideal for use in commercial bait making applications. The silica base also provides the highest quality level of "shimmer" compared to polyester glitter, which is very noticeable in low light environments.

 

     Siren Scales are cosmetic grade and non-toxic to the skin and touch, however due to the small lightweight particle size they can become airborne and it is highly recommended to wear the proper PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), to prevent inhalation of the flake particles.  Users should not Inhale or Ingest Siren Scales flakes.
