     Holoshift Powders by 8bit Baits are SiO2 Silica based color shifting powder pigments designed for use in a variety of applications.  Holoshift Powder is able to to be mixed into plastisol for soft plastic injection, safe for use in epoxy and resin clear coats, and the incredibly small particle size of 40 microns makes it compatible with airbrush applications as well.  Holoshift Powder is also optically clear, so when used in soft plastic injection applications, the powder will visibly disappear at certain angles adding a 3rd dimension to the visible effects created in the baits.

     Holoshift Powder is silica based which gives it many benefits over traditional Mica based powder pigments.  The powders have high heat resistance so they will not burn or degrade when mixing into hot plastisol, and they can withstand multiple re-heats.  The Holoshift Powders have an incredibly small particle size of 40 microns that are not only optically clear, but also mix and distribute evenly into liquid mediums creating a 10% aqueous suspension.  The silica base also provides a higher quality level of "shimmer" compared to mica based pigments, which is very noticeable in low light environments.

     Holoshift Powders are cosmetic grade pigments and non-toxic to the skin and touch, however due to the small 40 micron particle size it is highly recommended to wear the proper PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), to prevent inhalation of the powder dust particles.  Users should not Inhale or Ingest Holoshift Powders.
