Pixie Dust by 8bit Baits are Borosilicate based color shifting powder pigments designed for use in a variety of applications.  Pixie Dust Powder Pigments are able to to be mixed into plastisol for soft plastic injection, safe for use in epoxy and resin clear coats, and the incredibly small particle size of 50 - 150 microns makes it compatible with airbrush applications as well.  Pixie Dust should be treated similar to a pearl powder.  It is not optically clear which means it will cloud the plastisol similar to a pearl powder.  It can still be used in clear belly applications but can also be used added to a wide range of base colors.  Pixie Dust have a very high level of reflectivity and glimmer which look fantastic not only in sunlight but also in low light situations.

     Pixie Dust powders are borosilicate based which give them many benefits over traditional Mica based powder pigments.  The powders have high heat resistance so they will not burn or degrade when mixing into hot plastisol, and they can withstand multiple re-heats.  Pixie Dust Powders have a small particle size between 50 - 150 microns that are able to be used in airbrush applications when using nozzles that are 0.5mm or larger.  The borosilicate base also provides chemical resistance, making Pixie Dust a great addition to be mixed into epoxy and clear coats.

     Pixie Dust powder pigments are cosmetic grade pigments and non-toxic to the skin and touch, however due to the small  micron particle size it is highly recommended to wear the proper PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), to prevent inhalation of the powder particles.  Users should not Inhale or Ingest Pixie Dust.
